5/13/19 Update:

Buttercup is a spectacular mother to her 10 puppies.  She weathered labor and delivery like a champ and we couldn't be more proud of her.  She remains a sweet and loveable girl.  

Buttercup is calm and quiet. She is both dog and cat friendly, and kid friendly as well.  She is shy at first, but warms quickly.  Oh, and she loves treats and belly rubs.

She is also house trained. 


Princess Buttercup is a 3 year old walker Coonhound that will soon be giving birth to some beautiful babies. She is a sweet and calm girl and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She is being fostered in Stephens City, VA with dogs and cats. She is protective of her food towards other animals so she is being fed separately and is just fine!

Note:  

  • She will not be available for adoption until her puppies are weaned and she has been spayed. 
  • We are accepting applications for her, and will review applications in the order in which we receive them.
  • Only approved adopters may contact the foster.
