Hazel is a Vizsla/pocket pit mix. She is TINY as far as those breeds go and weighs only 35lbs.

She is heartworm negative and spayed.

Hazel will require a home with a fenced in yard as she is not a big fan of walking in unknown territory with unknown people and animals. She will do best in a quiet, low key household.

She will need a home where she has a companion that is at home during the day. She very much needs to be around her people.

She does know some basic commands.

She knows how to sit and go into her crate for a treat. (She will do anything for food!)

She doesn't need long daily walks and is quiet happy to play in the backyard. She walks on a leash but is reactive (barks) to other dogs she sees when out.

Hazel sometimes takes a little while to warm up to new people. However once she warms up  she is overall just a goofball that will make a great addition to any home. She bonds to her person and loves them unconditionally. She loves to snuggle, give kisses and belly rubs.

She does best and is submissive with larger dogs, however she does resource guard food and toys. So she currently is fed in her crate which she doesn't mind at all. Will likely do best as an only dog.

She is great with children but will likely do better with elementary age and up as she loves stuffed animals and doesn't always realize her personal space.

She can be homed with dog savvy cats, so long as they tend to stay out of the way.
